Last Episode of 2014
In this final episode of the year the B man talks a bit about his Christmas, how he's dreading the people coming to the gym as we approach the New Year and people make resolutions they more than likely will not keep. In the news the shitty ass no life hackers are at it again, bringing down Sony's online network for several days during this Christmas week. Also The Interview gets released, Elders Scrolls gets a definitive release date on consoles "sometime in 2015". Finally B goes over what he's watching and playing (which isn't much at this time) and closes out with some Rainbow in The Dark by the late great Ronnie James Dio. All this and more in the audio below.

Gotham
Like allot of shows this fall this will be an initial review of a new show on TV. At the time of this post the second episode will be airing later today but I did have a chance to watch the pilot. I go into details of things in the audio below, but to sum it up this is a show that takes place in the Batman universe, but there is no Batman. This show is a prequel and shows the rise of popular villains as well as Detective Gordon to commissioner Gordon, and all the corruption of a city in need of a hero. Go into this show with the mindset that your not going to get much Batman aside from the occasional Bruce Wayne as a child cameo and you'll enjoy it for what it is.

B Playing Destiny (footage recorded 9-23-14)
In this clip I'm using PS4's streaming ability to capture a game me and a friend are playing as I complete one of the queens bounties on the planet Venus. Microphone quality doesn't seem to be the best but enjoy the footage for what it is.
Playstation TV
For some reason my audio recording of this bit of news is not showing up in regular podcast feeds, so for a while the only place to get a taste of the Bman will be through his blog, or maybe a little youtube. That being said in this audio post I'm going to tell you a bit about a cool little device coming out from Sony.

Scary Dolls & Rehashed Games
Intro
B talks about his trip to Carvel. When the hell did the price of flying saucers go up to $8.99 or am I just getting to be that guy? As a result he went to Dunkin Donuts and found a real tasty treat.
Movie Talk
The Conjuring:
Bought this movie off the Google Play store at the recommendation of a gentleman who frequents the office I work at. He's really into horror movies and if he says one is worth seeing I trust his judgment enough to make the purchase.
I was not disappointed, I don't scare easily when it comes to horror flicks, most are just cheap thrills and unnecessary violence, but this one hits all the right feelings at just the right times. Besides what is more creepier than ugly looking dolls that leave love letters? The Conjuring is "based on a true story" of a family that moves into a house that is cursed and has an evil spirit that latches onto the family causing chaos. With nowhere else to turn the family enlists the help of The Warrens, a famous couple known for handling situations like these.
Tv Talk
Teen Wolf (MTV)
Recently got back into this show and am really enjoying it. I probably talked about it a while back but just to recap this is nothing like the movie from the 80's(which I actually enjoyed as a kid). This show has a far more darker tone, with the occasional humor thrown in. I just finished season three the other day for instance and within the last two episodes a main character was brutally murdered, and a bunch of innocent people at a hospital were murdered by Samurai spirit looking things.
Video Games Talk
Rogue Legacy(PS4/Vita)
Now this game has been out for a while on the pc, I myself bought a copy during last years Steam 2013 Summer sale, but now this game is available on PS4/Vits/PS3, and it's a cross buy title. Cross buy means if you buy it for one of these systems you get it for all. I own both a PS4 and a Vita so for the price of one I now have it available on both systems and this the type of game that plays well as both a quick portable title or as something you can spend hours in front of a tv playing.
Rogue Legacy is what they call a Rogue Lite title, now Rogue likes are games where when you die death is permanent and you have to start over, but in this Rogue Lite death is permanent but you come back as a decendent and each time a bit more powerful through upgrades you can purchase. The game plays similar to titles like Castlevania and is a 2D plat-former with many ways to die. Even when you die countless times though, there is still lots of joy coming back and trying to get just a bit further. In addition every time you come back the castle has a different layout so this adds to the replay as well.

Live Recording 07-24-14 "The Nut Jobs"
I decided to try and finally do a live show where callers could phone in and talk about TV shows, video games, movies etc.. instead the only call I get comes from a paranoid guy with a link to a youtube video and talks about how our Tv's have camera's in them and are watching us. When I try egging him on a bit asking about Microsofts Kinect camera he starts talking aboutSteve Jobs, lol.
Destiny and Strife
Intro Talk
Gaming Talk
Strife - This game fall under the category of MOBA which stands for multiplayer online battle arena, games like this include League of Legends and DOTA 2. Strife plays like the games I just mentioned as it has the typical three lanes and towers that must be taken out, although the map is slightly smaller. I've been enjoying this one allot more lately as it's style is more suited to the casual player and they do more things to alleviate you own teammates turning on you. Last hitting isn't really an issue in this one where as in the other games gold was only awarded to the teammate who got the last hit on an enemy this one lets even a player in a support role such as healer share in the reward. Currently the game is in closed beta on the pc but do a google search for the game Strife sign up for the beta, I received my invite withing a couple of days and even in this beta build I like it more than League of Legends at the very least.
Destiny Beta - About a month ago I had a chance to play the Alpha version of Bungies upcoming shooter Destiny on the PS4, well this past weekend I was given a key to play the beta version and I put quite a number of hours into it. Initially with the Alpaha version I wasn't terribly impressed, certainly not enough to pre-order the game, but this current build is very strongly pushing in me in that direction. One of the key differences is actual story has been added in between missions, this may sound like a minor thing but having a reason to actually go shoot things rather than doing so mindlessly makes a big difference. Graphically I can't complain, the game looks and runs really well also, and I don't know if it's just me but seem like it loads a bit better in this current build.
During my time playing I had a chance to do just about everything you can within the beta, I did all of the mission including the dungeon like map where you team up with other players to take on boss fights. The mission was allot of fun and hectic, I played with a friend and some random player and it took us multiple attempts to take town a mini-boss walking tank as we came close several times only to have us all die before being able to re-spawn. When this boss did fall and we found out we still had more in this mission to go we were like "Holy Crap" if this was just a mini-boss what is the final guy going to be like? Turns out the final boss wasn't as difficult though we did almost all wipe one time but I was able to spawn with half a second to go. In addition to all the story missions I also played a few rounds of the Player vs player maps, but only one game type was available in this version and it features players trying to capture and hold three positions. This is not exactly my favorite game type in these shooters I would much rather prefer capture the flag or just good old fashioned team death match, but my preferences aside the mode played well enough and those other game types will more than likely be included in the final release.
In closing playing these few hours with this build has certainly swayed my decision and I can really see myself buying this game day one when it is released, which I believe is in September. Lord knows my PS4 library could certainly use the boost, other than free Indie games and Battlefield 4 I really don't have much to play on this system and hopefully that will all change within the next few months.
Movies Talk
Few things opening this week, we have Hercules coming out starring "The Rock". I'm slightly curious but not sure if I'll go see it or not. The trailer looks cool enough, but unless they change things up a bit it's kind of redundant. How many times do we need to see the same Hercules story?
Another interesting movie out this week is Lucy and stars Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman and is being done by Luc Besson who brought us The Professional and The Fifth Element. In this movie Johansson plays Lucy who from the description I read turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic, in other words she gets some kind of power that makes her totally bad ass and leads to lots of violence.

Feedly Down, The Show Must Go On!!
Hey guys another rainy start to the day but things seem to clear up a bit towards the latter part of the afternoon. In the audio recording this week B talks about going to the gym to relieve stress, and why no matter how much he goes to the gym he'll never lose the weight probably due to his eating habits including his improvised lasagna using cold cuts.
The source for B's information allot of the time comes from a feed catcher known as Feedly, well just so happens the site has been attacked and being held for ransom from a group of hackers, none the less I was prepared by backing up some of the more recent stories so there is still plenty to hear.
E3 was this past week and plenty of news there, but the "B" man goes over a couple of the things that he found interesting, mainly on the Sony front as the PS4 and Vita are the only consoles he owns at the moment. So I talk PS Vita TV, Sony's Streaming service Playstation Now, and some more Diablo exclusive content for PS4.
In movie and tv talk B talks about Django Unchained, Hemlock Grove season two coming, and is shocked to learn that Avatar is scheduled to receive three sequels. All this can be heard in the player down below.

GOJIRA!!
Hey my dudes and dudettes the "B" man here and I had the pleasure of seeing a really fun movie this past Saturday. If you haven't guessed by the title of this post I'm referring to the newest take on an old classic Godzilla. Now we all remember the last time they put one of these on the big screen, it starred Mathew Broderick, Jean Reno, and was directed by Roland Emmerich. That film pretty much got panned but the B man was allot younger back then and didn't really mind it so much. If you think about it Godzilla movies of the past haven't exactly been the greatest, there just cheesey fun. Well the big lizard is back and this time he leaves the cheese behind.
This latest version is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Bryan Cranston. It cost $160 million to make and is just over two hours long.
Now I'll try and keep this as spoiler free as possible but I will tell you this much, the trailers they've been showing over the last year have been a little misleading. They reallydid a good job of not telling you much about what this movie is about, other than Godzilla is very very large. Characters (one in particular) who I thought would be more involved with the story were actually written off pretty early on. Also the title character himself takes sought of a back seat, it's probably a good forty five minutes to one hour before you see Godzilla for the first time, but don't worry that first hour is filled with plenty of destruction and story and all the build up is worth it. When we see him in full form and the roar comes out for the first time it sent shivers down my back(same way I felt when Banner Hulks out at end of Avengers to take down giant alien ship). The final act of this film is filled with enough action to make Michael Bay jealous.
I had no doubts going in that this movie was going to be good, the trailers did their job well and got me pumped up way ahead of time. I was not let down this was a great sci-fi monster flick with plenty of story and action to keep me satisfied. I will definitely own Godzilla when it comes out for purchase. It seems to me this movie was a love letter to a monster that's been gracing the screens for over 50 years and it brings Godzilla into the new millennium in style. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a new breed of giant monster flicks and we'll get more down the road.

Parking, Robotic Limbs, and Penny Dreadful
Hey guys the following audio was recorded on May 12th 2014 the day after Mothers day, so from the B man happy belated to all you Momma B's out there. This episode I talk about parking lot issues, how to maybe scam the self check out(not actually proven). Also talk about cool robotic arm being approved by FDA article from The Verge can be found here. The first clip was put up for a new show coming out next fall Constantine (no not the bad Keaneau Reaves film), doesn't look half bad link from comingsoon.net can be found here. From the description sounds like a show similar to Supernatural so the B man will keep an eye out for this one. Last but not least the B man talks about watching the free first episode of Penny Dreadful. Despite seeing some man @$$ within the first ten minutes the rest of the show was really good. Hear all this below and if you like to hear B talk randomly about nothing all prior podcasts can be found on Itunes search for Chillinwithb. Later my wanna "B"s.

No More Man @$$
Hey dudes and dudettes the B man here, this episode I'm going to talk some more about crazy drivers on the road that drive me crazy. New show I watched for free off the Google play store called Salem which has a scene involving man butt that the B man is getting tired of seeing in shows lately. Also the new Godzilla trailer is pretty cool and reveals some new info that wasn't know until now. Battlefield 4 got an update on the consoles that's going to make getting into games with friends allot easier and just in time for the B man as he has joined an online community of gamer's. So enjoy the audio below and until next time, peace out my Wanna "B"s.

Super Mario is Dead : (
Hey Wanna "B"s it's with sad regret that the news broke today of the death of actor Bob Hoskins at the age of 71. He was in allot of films but to the B man he'll always be remembered most for playing the part of Super Mario in the movie most people hated but the B has nostalgic fond memories of. So listen to B's audio below and after the recording I added the trailer for both Super Mario Movie as well as Who Framed Roger Rabbit dancing comedy scene. R.I.P. dude.

ARAM of Bust
Hey Wanna "B"s in the following audio the B man talks about how he's been enjoying League of Legends lately with the game type called ARAM. Definitely recommend this game type if you feel little intimidated by the three Lane base game. ARAM stands for all random all mid and is a one lane 5 v 5 match up that is more about quick reflexes than any real strategy and a nice break from the norm.
Also talk about Diablo 3 survey that went out, Arrow season finale news, and a crazy nightmare I had, also Dracula's Ding Dong Penny Dreadful. All this and more in the audio below. until next time Wanna "B's later.
Sunday, April 27, 2014

Anyway if you want to hear me rant about the cold theater getting me sick and my opinions about the film itself listen below for your audio pleasure. Until next time, smell you later!
